"When I first signed up for Sharon's leadership coaching, I didn't know what a coach could tell me that I didn't already know or could discover on my own. I was concerned that the whole process might not be worth the time and effort. But since working with Sharon, I realized that I was qualifying and limiting myself in so many aspects of my life without realizing it. Since working with Sharon, I am now more open to ideas, people, everything and because of that I am able to recognize and identify more opportunities that come my way, which I normally would have been too closed off to consider. I've learned that I need to be the champion of my own story because if not me, then who else? Above all else, I've learned and identified the things that I value that will lead me to live a more fulfilled life and what my career and personal life require for me to be happy. With that focus as my compass, I am able to be more in tune to the opportunities that will help me achieve a fulfilled life and to stop chasing paths that, while traditional and safe, would ultimately leave me unhappy. Without the negative interference I have more bandwidth for the opportunities that will lead me to where I truly want to be and build the legacy I want to leave behind.
Sharon's personality, her approach, the directed and focused assignments and the amount of time and effort she puts into analyzing the assignments made me want to open up to her. I was blown away by how enlightening Sharon's analysis of the assignments were. She made it easy to explore what scared me, to answer her truthfully and authentically without feeling the need to "fluff" my story so she'd think better of me. Her confidence in me made me believe we could make huge changes so I wanted to go all in, no holding back. When you work with Sharon, you will get someone who is invested in you, your future, and your purpose as much, or more, than you are invested. Sharon works hard to make sure she understands her clients and where they came from, where they are presently and where they want to go. She genuinely cares about her clients and their path to finding a truly authentic and purpose filled life."
"When I first started working with Sharon, I was hesitant to open up about my insecurities and my personal life and potentially receive any judgment or advice that I wasn't ready for. However, Sharon was extremely insightful without being presumptuous or overbearing in her zeal to be helpful. I was quickly able to see that she was not here to offer cookie cutter suggestions and trite encouragement, but instead such thoughtful, mindful and deeply observant reflections that made me open my eyes to patterns in my life I had never realized were consistently affecting me. As an entrepreneur, going through the coaching sessions allowed me to pinpoint areas in my business that needed attention, and has helped me be more organized by exploring different ways to work effectively without being overwhelmed to get my company where it ought to go. On a personal level, each session with Sharon allowed me to connect the missing dots that link my personal and professional life. I am able to look at my business in a new light and see the possibilities of what I can do and where I could take it, which is incredibly useful, particularly as a sole founder. I am very excited to truly apply my strengths towards my business and change my train of thought and strategy from a viewpoint of fear of lacking certain abilities to one of leading from my strengths. The experience has caused me to fully consider what I think of myself first and not what others consider me to be. Sharon's sessions felt so personal and thoughtful. Getting an unbiased, considerate, tactful and yet direct observation from a new skilled set of eyes has been invaluable. She creates a non-judgmental space where anything can be said. So the more open you are the more you get out of it. I think these session are wonderful and therefore, too short!"
“Before working with Sharon I thought the best and only way to reassess your career, leadership strengths and weaknesses was to work on it on your own. I saw it as a very individual and introspective process. With Sharon’s help, I’ve identified situations where I tend to freeze or respond out of fear. In the past, those types of situations have paralyzed me and, in certain respects, temporarily stunted my career growth and skill development. Now, instead of just getting a sinking feeling when those situations crop up, I’m able to pause, acknowledge my concerns, and move past them in a productive way. Understanding where those fears come from, your personal history and behavior, and fully acknowledging your achievements and strengths, gives you a more balanced perspective from which to tackle those demons. I was amazed at just how talking things through with Sharon revealed so much that I wouldn’t have ever considered if these situations had just happened to me and I hadn't talked it out with anyone. After discussing my personal and professional story with Sharon, I've also felt much more comfortable taking action for myself. I feel much more in control when I'm taking charge of a situation, and less hesitant about doing so. I feel like I’m making real gains and have so much more insight into my fears and concerns. What a relief! Sharon is a very effective guide and an incredible listener with great insight. With those two tools at your disposal, you’ll learn a lot about yourself and where you want to go. There is an openness that Sharon fosters that makes for productive and deeply connected conversations. I'd highly recommend Sharon to anyone looking for guidance, encouragement and accountability.”
“From the start, Sharon’s admission/intake form was very thorough, and truly a journey in introspection for the client. It forced me to think about things that I was taking for granted or simply not aware of. From our first session, Sharon’s sharp intuition and sincerity helped us get down to the grit of things rather quickly. She isolated consistencies in my written tone, and content of my intake form to formulate concise facts strengths we wanted to fortify and challenges we wanted to not just address but actively take on. The hardest part of change isn’t the desire to change, but taking action toward that goal. Sharon helped me to put some structure in place to make that action happen.
I think having someone who is supportive and empowering, like Sharon, in your corner is invaluable. The amount of pressure and expectation for women is crushing, and having tools like this to help us get out of our own way in order to succeed is critical. When I started coaching I was overwhelmed and overextended. Being a mama and trying to focus on my career takes a toll if we don’t have the right support. I had homework! Our weekly calls were both uplifting and forcing me to face some things about myself I wouldn’t readily admit, but the beauty of Sharon’s approach is that it never felt forced, it felt like a collaboration, resulting in my betterment. As we worked through my goals together I started to remember that we have the power to control and change our direction. Now, don’t get me wrong, you get out what you put in. It is work. But the outcome was my feeling like the challenges I was facing were manageable, and I had more areas of strength than I realized when we began. Thank you Sharon.”
"When I started working with Sharon, I was frustrated with my career and ready for a change. I put a lot of time and energy into work, but struggled to communicate effectively with key players in my organization. Sharon gave me insight and exercises that helped me explore this and other areas of my career at a deeper level. After our sessions I feel less anxious facing situations that I would have considered stressful in the past. This has allowed me to be more present and in turn has helped me communicate more effectively. She also worked with me to find my authentic voice, which has helped me stand out in a positive way. Overall I found working with Sharon to be extremely beneficial and eye-opening. As I advance in my career and face new challenges, I would absolutely work with her again."
